My 10 yr old and 9 yr old sons and I just arrived at grandma and grandpa's house out near Grand Coulee tonight.  Have our spot(s) all staked out and ready to go for Saturday about 40 miles from here.  Been scouting the past 2 weekends and got some access to private land - thank you Lord!

They're both going for their first turkeys, so they coudn't be more excited (dad too).  The 7 yr old is stuck at home with mom this year as 2 new hunters are enough for me to handle at once this hunt,  but he's excited about maybe getting to come next year.

Good luck to everyone.  Hope to post some "successful" pictures next week and see everyone else's.  Either way, we're gonna have a "blast"!   :chuckle:

Good luck JBR. They should have a blast! this early in the season, the birds shouldn't be shy, and will be talkitive, and very interested. At least that is how it was for my during youth season.    take some pics!
