My dog has HORRIBLE gas... I mean its so bad that you can feel the film in your mouth bad!
I've nearly gaged it was so bad and couldn't get the truck windo down enough... I feed him some premium dog food, so i'm not sure if this stuff is just hype? I know that I feed my old Chessie Glucosimen and it seemed to help... Just wanted some imput before i dropp bigger bucks... He's already eatig food that is over a buck a pound.... Any imput is great thanks!

What are you feeding? Try a 1/4 cup of plain yougurt on his food. Might be too high protein content too. I've fed higher and dogs stink and craps are bad. Backed down to 26-8%, their energy is fine and poops are good.
Super high protein foods don't work well with Chessies IMO.

some dogs get gassy on lamb I'd try chicken....unless he is allergic tgo chicken then you are making a jump to the next dog food level and feeding something like venison, or duck, or bison...

My lab had a pretty bad shedding problem and we started using Dinovite last summer. The shedding issue stopped. Not 100% sure it was due to the Dinovite, but it did seem to help. He also had chronic yeast infections in his ears and that also cleared up.

I've never fed lamb and rice. The breeders I know have always recommended not feeding lamb and rice. I've never questioned it, just never fed it. I've heard something about switching dogs from lamb to other foods can cause problems if not done slowly-more than just the chits but, I don't know if that has any foundation.
I'm feeding NutraSource. It isn't common on the West Coast yet. I bought 12 40lb bags at an auction in August. It was the brand Ty's breeders in MS recommended but, when I got him it was not available anywhere in Wa. They are both vets and field trialers. I'm down to about 6 bags. Not sure I'll be able to get it again so, I'll probably try Native Dog food. I know of two Chessies on it. They both look great, don't stink and like the food.

That's why my big dog is pooten all the time. But this dog food has been good for her joints.
Just good fiber content.Their systems are very close to ours,so a high fiber content would gas them up.Yogurt may be a good idea too.
