He was a great hunter,a dog of a lifetime. He apparently had a heart attack while bringing a goose back. He went under the water and I never saw him again,he was seven.

Sorry to hear that, 7 is very young. I had a similar experience 2 christmas's ago at home though.

Sorry to hear of your loss buckshot. Our blackie had 11 pups 5 weeks ago, pm me if you want one. Dad is full lab mom is mix , but points and flushes all the grouse on our propertey when we walk it. She had a litter last year, and  our neighboiur boy got champion at fair last year with her pup. We will have them at redapple in Concrete tomorrow from 9:00 till 12:00 sat the 13th.  BTW they are free.
