Dave, I've been out of town for a few days so thats why I haven't answered until now. The ringer pliers I use are Republic brand #ZXXR I use the 1/2" rings, cat#ROSO, for most of my cage work. I do use some smaller RCKS rings that are 3/8" rings. The 1/2" rings do not work on 1/4" rod, thinking you will need a larger ring such as a 3/4" or 1" . You can see whats available on there online catalog. Plus they have a free 800 number so you can call them and see what they recommend.I burchased these several years ago so I don't know whats available right now. The company is klubertanz.com, Hope this helps. later, bob

They may bring about that much this year. I received about a $7 average last year and they may advance some from that is what I'm reading.

Cool!  I trapped muskrats when I was a kid in New England.  I think the average price for a pelt was $1.50 back then.  But that was a lot of money in the 1950's.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

This picture shows a wide channel set
If you look at the picture you can see the "light Brown" in the water,,,,,This is the channel inside of the channel...
looking at the bottom and noticing the difference in the vegetation or rust or mud will teach you to be a better trapper.
Aging of sign is key to success

Male mink

Again in a wide ditch,,,,,trap is under the grass

This photo shows why the drop down piece is so important when building rat cages
three of the 4 rat have latched onto the wire above the cage door,,,,,
8x8 trap with 6 inch tall door

Before the remake
NOTICE the light brown channel
