Went out yesterday and worked really hard for this bird. The dog did pretty well (he is only 7 months old). The new browning cynergy shot like butter. Such a glorious gun. The spurs on this pheasant were pretty big.

Awesome! That Browning looks really nice!! Never have gone upland game hunting... at least not yet.

Where do u live? I would love to hunt behind some shorthair. My only experience is behind flushing dogs. Never hunted behind a pointer. My last dog was a true hunting champ. Hopefully this one gets there too!
