I watched it with the sound on mute. I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to throw around their rifle  However people abuse their wives and kids all the time so it would not be any stranger than that.

Sweet...I'll play,as seldom is such a clueless cast assembled.

Firstly,that 7WSM(it's mine) launching 162A-Max and their .625BC at an initial 3000fps on the nose,via it's 225yd zero at sealevel,digests but 12MOA to the 700yd line and arrives with 2017fps residual velocity and .85-ish second TOF(time of flight) and 1464ft lbs of "energy"(thus the perpetually swing plate,due to cadence).

It hits the 1000yd line with 1665fps residual,996ft lbs and a very modest 1.345 TOF,ala 22.7MOA elevation correction.

Moving shoulders during fireform from the parent 300WSM hull to the formed 7WSM hull does in fact account for some performance loss and I favor formed cases at 3150fps via the same rifle,though much remains easy even when in FF Mode.

The plate is sub 2MOA at 700yds(not that anyone here knows what that means).




Be sure to critique the balance of the footage I loaded...so as to keep the ball rolling.................

Have killed far more with V-Max,than I have A-Max. That 7WSM will scoot 120's at 3500fps,be it V-Max or X/TSX...as will any 7Remmie Mag.

 Reading your specs is interesting, I've been looking for a Kimber montana 7WSM, looks like the best thing going right now in a factory rifle.
 Whats up with throwing the rifle? If you testing the scope for shock at least throw a damned blanket down first.

I don't care if someone throws around their rifle but I would definitely think that someone who does it either has money burning a hole in their pocket or they just don't have anything better to do than show off for a camera.

Stupidity is the propensity to discuss subject matter foreign to you and to feign a clue regarding same. I find MUCH reassurance in a sub 7lb rifle shooting in the .5MOA realm at 700yds,via makeshift field rest,tough atmospheric conditions and after having been put through some Real World turmoil.

Nice to bank on a rifle that doesn't shift POA impact,harbors incredible inherent precision potential and bolsters a most forgiving mannereism.

I'd rather something fail in the R&D process,as opposed to the field...but I take such things a little more than seriously......................

I personally don't have to throw my rifle on the ground to feel reassured about how well I can shoot it or how much abuse it can handle. If you feel the need to partake in that sort of ritual I can certainly help you throw it around some time. I also have a sledge hammer laying around.

I loaded the 700yd video,impact is easy to see(as is the wind),the picture with loaded rounds denotes the triangle of impact at 9 O'clock and COAL is 3.015". I've zero doubt that subtention troubles most.

Whatever you do,don't download the clips of shooting Grade A chicken eggs at 510yds via PacNor barreled 223AI in a McMillan A2 handle,nor the 11 second sub .5MOA agg at the same distance(same rifle),nor shooting a 12oz plastic water bottle at the 700yd line via #1 contoured PacNor 23" 25-284.

Don't download any of the Book critters getting killed either...................
