It was great, the weather is much better over there right now, we had 60's and sun. Lot's of critter's, we made an offer on a cabin on under two acres, very excited.

Are there any muleys left alive over there? Why were you stuck on the pass? Avalanche danger or something?

Yup, avalanche on the W. side of the pass, brought down trees in the road. We first thought the muleys were non-existent, then we went up to where some feeding had been going on and saw hundred's of muleys, they looked pretty good, some were putting on weight already, some of the yearling's looked like they had a tougher time though.

If the deal closes, I'll put up some pics, we have a couple options if this one doesn't work out, we are in the feasability stage right now.

We've been looking for land for 3-4 years, can't seem to find any without either rediculous CCR's, or issues with lack of prior structure permits.

Not sure what you mean exactly by the comment, we go to Winthrop every year, sometimes multiple trips. I have only ever seen one whitetail in town only out of thousand's of deer. If you talking about all the Okanogan, I've seen a ton of whities in the Eastern half.

Backed out after finding the owner did not permit for the cabin (probably why they suddenly moved out of State) and also found the HOA wouldn't let me fart in the wrong direction without their permission....

Looking closer to home now, going to try to look at a piece this weekend.
