Hoyt Gamemaster 2 Recurve
« on: November 13, 2010, 09:05:46 PM »
I'm a big hoyt guy and I want to start getting into more of the traditional side of it.  Does anyone out there own the gamemaster 2? How do you like it? What arrows fly straight of it?  Thanks for the help!

If your thinking about going trad I would steer clear of the major manufacturers. Im a PSE guy myself but wont shoot their trad bows.
Check out these two companies...a bit more expensive but much much better shooting and most importantly much faster.

RER River Edge Recurves out of Wisconsin
Robertson Stik Bows out of Montana

Cant go wring with either one. As soon as I move to where I can shoot in my yard i am going trad too. Cant wait!

i have shot the gamemaster 2 seceral times it is a great bow. if you want a fantastic bow check out the hoyt dorado. i have one and it is one of the best recurves i have ever shot. a lot like the gamemaster but my dorado shoots smoother and less vibe then the gamemasters i have shot. if you r ever around goldendale and would like to try it and several other recuvres feel free to stop by.

Hoyt makes recurve bows and limbs for Olympic shooters. Nuf said. ( I have a few bows made by custom bowyers and Hoyt just as good IMO) I have shot the Game Master and a great bow. I have a Sky recurve made by Hoyt too. They make a very good product. If the proce is right buy it!

I myself would not buy one, I not only cannot afford a bow right now, but I prefer "The Classics"
My newest bow is an early 70's DH Recurve, my oldest is a 30's Nels Grumley.
