As usual WB great research!
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Booked a hunt in the Sawtooth[Idaho] with Sawtooth Outfitters this October for a deluxe drop camp. 8,659 elevation,Elk,mule deer. 78 degrees with full moons at night didn't help but it was the wolves tracks every where you went and the Damn dirt bikes screwing it up. Next to no deer, One bull run off by bikes.
The outfitter told me that there was no ATV and his harvest rate was 40% on elk-70% on deer. Lots of wolves the camp was bad. If they don't do something soon there wont be anything left to hunt.
