Motion in the Decs?
« on: November 14, 2010, 11:41:13 AM »
So, I keep getting over excited while I'm out field hunting geese. :dunno: :P When I see those big flocks coming, I start shaking that goose flag like a Tongan hula dancer. Sure enough the flag always lands up breaking a wing rod." the little fiber glass rods that inter the wing of the flag"

So I was thinking of saying the hell with the flag and get a motion goose decoy......

My question to ya'll, is what one's have ya'll had the best luck with?

Thanks

Best not to use the music with the Tongan Hula Dancers.  It will flare the birds.   :chuckle:
If your snapping the fiberglass / graphite rods your probably to heavy to lift off.  :P
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

if your snapping rods your flapping to hard. ive had the same one for years, you only want to flap when they are at a distance to. if you keep flapping when they are close they will see its not a goose and leave you laughing or honking

you could always try some motion deeks. socks, ure-a-duck has some motion canada, etc but really... you might just want to reconsider how your 'flagging'... lol

Yep, hence the post " getting to excited". But I have to beg the differ on flagging while they are close. It hasn't seemed to bother them yet, I think it makes them start slipping wind even faster.

So does any one have a motion goose dec they really like?
