White tail in Curlew?
« on: November 17, 2010, 07:19:14 PM »
Hey I have a friend thats heading over to Curlew for a bow hunt next week. They are very new to the area and it will be the son's 1st bow hunt. I have loaned them all of my stuff including 2 tree stands, camping supplies etc. I know the best thing to do would be for good advice so does anyone have anything for them?

Padlock your treestands
use Apple scent on your boots and find a good trail and get ready! ;)
These white tail deer are realy spooky, aim for the heart area  because they will drop when they hear the bow.
wear Quiet clothing
use a scent eleminator on your clothing
bring Warm clothing and pocket warmers, you will use 4 a day.. 2 in your boots, 2 in your pockets
Never walk with an arrow knocked...NEVER!
I hunt therefor I am an endangered species
