dakota looks like she is saying "sure you can trust me... now hold this bag while I chase a snipe into it"

My lab Sammie at 18 months old. Her second flush of her life, (dang first one I missed  :bash:)

She is a awesome hunter, stays close 20 to 30 yards and works back and forth 20 yards from the direction I'm walking. Its amazing to watch since I didnt teach her to do that.

She still wont pick them up yet just rolls them over with her nose. Gotta get that fixed before I put a duck down in a pond. She'll retrieve anything else just hasnt figured she can put a bird in her mouth yet.

This is my second lab, my first lab (Lady May) was 16 yrs old when I had to put her down. She had retrieved a hundred plus ducks and 50+ pheasants and one bobcat in her day and a bazillion other things I had shot as a kid. Sammie's got a good start.

I'd rather have a bow in my hand then this keyboard!
