I was in some of them scouting the days before opener and only saw tracks with snow in them , moved down to hunt some of the lower areas , glassed alot of country some roads are impassable , i also have a freind with the tag and were split up . Wow is everyone on here better hunters than each other nothing but critisizm thought this was a forum about hunting not about who is so much better , all i was saying is i covered alot of ground and with help from others and only have turned up small bucks.

Don't be so sensitive.   :)  You said you hunted all those areas and my response wasn't meant to criticize.

The Mission is a tough unit to hunt.  The rut is almost over and the bigger bucks will be a lot more reclusive.

That was me at the table on the side there with my son and a freind. We only have doe tags for the Entiat. My buddy got his tonight. I overheard him talking about it. Did they every find the buck his freind shot?

I thought it might have been. Crazy how many people you cross paths with that are on this site.

Im not sure if they recovered the buck or not. We didnt talk to him yesterday. From the sounds of it the buck cant go far though.

Been hunting the Mission muzzy tag for the last 4 days nothing but small bucks everything seems to be spread out . hunted all the way from Ruby crk drainage , scotty crk  , Shaser crk , Camas land and camas crk , found deer in the mission crk road but small bucks , doesnt seem to be alot in the No. 2 cyn yet seen some bigger bucks but all behind orchards and no access . still  a couple days to go .
sounds like youre hitting alot of good areas. ruby crk south and east where it gets real steep should be some good hunting about now
