Hey Brad, I am still grinning, tired but grinning.  Thanks for letting me be part of your hunt, best hunt of my life so far.  Only thing I still cant figure out is how we let Shad shoot the rifle to verify accuracy.   :dunno:  I mean we dont call him Lightning for nothing.   :chuckle:  Here is my "hero" pic, now I know what it like to wrap my hands around a fresh set of big antlers.  I hope I got some good pics for you.  Thanks again Brad.

I can't wait to see them......Thanks for capturing it all on camera.  I am just about to leave to take him to the taxidermist but don't want him out my set yet.

Browngoingdown- Riding on the back of a sled with Stickslinger would definitely be considered "extreme conditions"

Cougeyes- No sheds have been found as far as we know.  After the fact a couple of people have claimed to have seen him but with no pics.  They certainly didn't tell Tony or I beforehand....... :dunno:

Well when I took my buck to the taxi and was looking forward to fondling the antlers that a lot of other guys killed on here, they had taken all their antlers home to show off(Ironhead!!!). So apparently you can take the antlers home with you till the taxi is ready for them.   :chuckle:

Congrats! That is an amazing buck with great character. I'm impressed with the story, the ability to hold out on your part, and most importantly, the ability for some guys to come together to help make this a once in a lifetime affair for you Raffle. Congratulations sir!

It's been a hell of a year for good bucks, there were some giant non typicals killed in the early season and some more giants killed in the late season.
This  buck has it all. Mass, width extras. It has great character and will look awesome on the wall, a great story behind it as well. Congrats to all involved.

The best story I have read on this website, good job to you and your friends that helped make this possible. You got me thinking about taking a loan out for the 2011 raffle tag.
