My pup Mace. Only 369 days old and not much training. Worked like a pro. No hunting experience other than a few pigeons in the yard.
I took him out to Kosmos in the afternoon. 15 minutes into it he flushed a hen, but no shot. He then had 5 more in the next half hour, of which I finally connected on two.
What a natural! He was all business and showed no signs of boredom or tiring.  I think I'll keep him! :chuckle:

This is Rocky. Not sure what breed he is, we're thinking Shorthair and maybe Chesapeake. I got him as a rescue dog 3 years ago. He is crazy about birds and any type of retrieving. He really came on strong last year with pheasants and found 3 wounded birds that would have been lost.

This will be my upland and waterfowl dog.  I just picked her up Sunday.  She is a 10 month old yellow lab named gauge originally but I think we are going to change it to sage.  She is green to hunting and guns so this year will be a training year for her.

Here is Thunderhill Mohawk Briar.  He just turned two, and is one of the birdiest dogs I've ever been around.  He is an amazing companion too.  I am totally hooked on setters now.  I can't wait for the season to start!

Cool pic.   Nice 16ga SxS.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.
