Thanks....   I could'nt shoot the chucker cus just about a second after the camera snapped...  Tanks snached the bird out of the air....   think either he just wants to make me look good...   or he's tired of my misses, and no bird  :IBCOOL:

He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

This is Shooter, he is 9 months. My first time training a hunting dog, he seems to be a natural guess I'll find out soon enough.

My 7 year old English Setter, Boomer. Caught him doing this point last year which was different than his bird point but I had my camera and couldn't resist. He ranges pretty wide and I have to keep tabs on him in heavy brush, but if there is a bird around he will find it. Mostly use him for grouse. He's pointed up grouse I would have walked right by, all in a days work. even at 7 YO he will still hunt all day and be ready to go the next morning. Not sure how many more years he will be able to do that. Maybe in a few years he will calm down enough that I will be able to keep up with him.

Here is Thunderhill Mohawk Briar.  He just turned two, and is one of the birdiest dogs I've ever been around.  He is an amazing companion too.  I am totally hooked on setters now.  I can't wait for the season to start!

just turned 13 mths have not gotten him on any birds yet but he goes nuts when he sees a bird in the yard hoping to get him out in the field this season

I think that is my dog's brother/sister. Looks like mine and is the exact same age.

Where did u get him/her?
