I went out coyote hunting this morning and didn't see any deer. Saw 3 coyotes and killed one @371 yds. with my 700 BDL 223. It's snowing right now so maybe that will help. Boulder is a good place to hunt. There is a lot of timber land up there that borders private land. PM me if you want more info. Glad to help out if I can.

People must go in the wrong spot up there. seriously.
Had a buddy go up by waucanda pass on the opener for rifle. 13 guys in camp, 3 does seen I was up there in August and July and saw plenty of deer. In August I saw over 200 head while driving around the lake and 5 3 point of betters. Mostly does and fawns with a few young bucks.
