I'm just guessing here, but it looks like your buddy shot his buck at last light, and had to come pack it out the next morning.  I know we both had to do the same thing in MT this year.  Both of our bucks were frozen solid by the time we got back to them in the morning...

Great looking bucks moss.    it looks like u guys had a great time.  That buck in the spotting scope, dam nice buck. To bad he wasn't on the state land. Great to see them though.  Congrats on a awesome hunt.
