mark, great posts and a great bull. I was living your hunt through my mother who was getting the day by day info to me. I've seen her pics, all 200 of them, haha, awesome trophy. My brother got your bull's matching sheds from last year, pretty cool. You did it all right, congratulations! by the way, great knife you gave my mom, you're a stand up guy. Made your daddy proud brother!

I just found this post on Christmas morning, what a heart warming story by a stand up guy. You did your Father and the Teannaway Proud.
Congratulations, you earned it !

Watimberghost,

Thanks for the well wishes. I have to say it was the people I met, as much as the elk, that made this hunt the dream. Your mom is just awesome and I hope she uses the knife for many years to come. It just had her name on it!

I hope we have the chance to meet and hunt together in the future, I would love to come up and throw some arrows with you and your brother. It was cool to see the sheds he found from my bull last year, she had them out when I came over before Christmas and I was shocked to see them there, what a great find and obviously the same bull. Take care and have a great New Year!
