« on: November 21, 2010, 03:26:58 PM »
Just sending this out there for you guys. I have put on several calling seminars in the past. I would like to put on a seminar on the west side for you but need some input. Thanks

I wouldn't pay, but would attend if it were free. You might try contacting the WWPHA and give a seminar for them.

Yeah free is better....Maybe have kind of a pot luck/barbecue get together and have various outdoorsmen bring their own dishes of jerky, roast, stews, burger, sausage.... and maybe have a turkey shoot for fun....a good way to meet people and enjoy the outdoorsman brotherhood. ;)

Thanks for the interest guys. If you have any suggestions on venues or centrally located places is always helpful.

Keep the input coming, things are looking up!! :IBCOOL:

Both are excellent callers , my friend is CB . like most experienced callers he keeps a low profile , He is in my mind one of the best around , He can put up some pretty impressive numbers and is hell on the big kitties . One heck of a trapper as well .

I called him one time about going out for big kitties and he said he would take me but never went any further than that. Maybe I should call him again. I have permission on a big ranch that borders the little klickitat. Think he would be interested?

Depends on where in the West Side... Would I pay? Maybe. But not $40 unless it included a call I could use. I would expect video proof of the tactics used, and that would mean "here on the west side".  I assume that doggies are different in different environments. Combine this with someone that calls cats successfully on the west side and I'd be more interested. Nothing IN SEATTLE or south of there. Potluck with a donation would be sweet.

Cabela's have free rooms for stuff like this.  I am more interested in the free.  I have two kids in college and I am watching my money.

The rooms aren't free, but not too expensive.
