Skagit Snows
« on: November 21, 2010, 06:23:35 PM »

My son and I hit the fields today after spending yesterday on a scouting trip. The snows are pretty wary now and I was a little worried when the first couple of flocks came by and didn't give our deeks a second look. Patience paid off though and before long we were in the thick of it. Another great day with my son. Wish I had some pics of the hunt but in the rush this morning I forgot the camera.  :bash: :bash:

Looks like you had a good hunt.  Always fun shooting a few snows.

Snow goose numbers still seem pretty low. Hoping that will change with the cold weather up in the Frazier River Valley. I did see a lot more mallards this weekend than I have for awhile. Northern ducks are definitely coming in!!!!!! :IBCOOL:
