decisions decisions

I am very new to this site, so here is a little history. I have been rifle hunting the eastside for 19 years. I was drawn for the multi-season tag for deer and elk this year
. I bought a bow in January (incase I was drawn) and started practicing. I have a newborn baby at home and work is the busiest it has been in three years, so I have been hunting a total of four days
. Starting this week I actually have some time off from work to hunt hard. I have been planing on hunting unit 454 because it is close, I could carry a bow for deer and a muzzleloader for elk. But access seems very limited. After reading some posts on this site, and hearing how much muley success there has been recently, I am considering going to swakane or manson. If I don't go there I will go to winston or ryderwood. My uncle has hunted all three units and said he would go with me where ever I decide to go. Does anyone have and input, opinions, or information pros and cons they would like to share. This is my first thread on here so I hope I am not overstepping any unspoken rules. Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone who is still hunting

i would not pack a bow and a muzzleloader at the same time. i don't think it is legal to pack both at the same time. not 100% sure but know you cannot shoot a animal with a bow during a muzzle season. or vise versa. as far as the areas i do not know them, but good luck to you. hope you can fill your tags. welcome to the site

Thanks for the welcome carpsniperg2. In 454 deer is open for archery at the same time elk is open for muzzleloader. I will definitely check the regs again though

yeah no prob! just don't want u to get into trouble. having a bow tag in your pocket, and packing a muzzy. i don't think would be a good thing. definanlty check it. i am sure they are both open at the same time.

I do have a multi-season tag for both deer and elk. Anyone else have any insight?

You can only carry one weapon while hunting, unless you have a CWP. You are not allowed to dispatch game with the CW, if it has been hit with any other weapon. Kinda funky, but the rules, hope this helps, good luck!!
