Full Sneak Elk pose?
« on: December 02, 2010, 12:10:16 PM »
Does anyone have a photo of an elk mounted in the full sneak position with head slightly turned?  I've seen photo's of the form, but I can't find any photo's of a finished mount.

Thanks,

I have vaulted ceilings, but I was thinking a full sneak position would be a way to get the mount even higher on the wall...but then I have to deal with his snout getting in the way.  It looks like the head is a little more upturned than a semi sneak or upright?

Thats a great looking mount by the way...awsome bull too.

Here is another sneak that can be modified to a closed mouth.

I keep looking at your pictures and thinking...wow, maybe my little antlers belong on a plaque... :'(

Just Joking, those are some absolute monsters and great mounts though.

Thanks again for the reference...it's really hard for me to look at the forms and try to picture the final product.

Just remember some of them mounts started from a form that was not the same as the end product. The first one I posted is prett5y much a stock form with major head mods, the neexzt two that are together are basically stock, and the last 2 are modded pretty good!
