Happened to pass Josh driving home and met him in Royal City yesterday.  Nice buck for sure.  Somebody would have had to tackle me to keep me from shooting it if I had been hunting.  Sounded like a damn tough hunt for sure.  Don't remember the score, but I do remember an 8 in it..........  :chuckle:
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

I will say that I think there's a lot more elk in the Blues than mule deer. I will also say that hunting in the snow is probably awesome to an extent. It reaches a point where it is no longer awesome.
