A very active afternoon
« on: November 29, 2010, 08:47:48 AM »
So instead of watching the seahawks do their thing again I decided to go sit in a ground blind near my house. Within the first ten minutes I had a very nice 6x6 standing a 10 yards from me, I was very surprised to say the least and could not get a shot before he left :(.
About a half hour later a spike and two does came by and stuck around for about an hour. Thought about filling my tag on that spike, he had a very nice body. They left and as I was regretting not shooting that first one, This boy and a female companion came by. He got to about 6 feet of my blind, thought he was going to look in the window. Had to wait for him to get to 10 yards drew back and got both lungs. He only went about 60 yards. I call him a 5x5, but he does have two little stickers on his forehead that are about 1 inch, so he could be considered a 6x6 depending who you are. Either way he is my largest archery buck yet :)

Man, I want YOUR ground blind.  Sounds like you've got a honeyhole there!  Congratulations on a great whitey! 8)
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
