MONTANA GRIZZY PICS
« on: November 22, 2010, 07:21:49 PM »
I think this is Mom blocking the camera, and her cub in the back ground. Pretty cool to see a griz. I was pretty excited. I saw 3 other grizzlies during season, but none where the same color as this one.

John

Nice pictures, planning a big trip to AK in 2012, come along it will be fun. Where I hunt caribou you get to see about a dozen of those a day.

Those are cool pics.  That is one big salt lick, I wonder how many pounds were dumped there over the years.

I would like to know how much salt has been dumped there too. Story has it the outfitter would bring in a couple hundred pounds a year in there on the mules. This lick is over 30 miles in from the trail head. No small task to get it in there. :P
