Potholes Update Request

Heading to Pasco for Thanksgiving with family. I was planning on taking my 12 year old grandson to the Potholes area for some bird hunting but with the extreme cold I am a little worried that the area I wanted to hunt will be frozen over.  :(  Any updates, suggestions or observations of conditions would be greatly appreciated.

there is a number of members down that way. good luck to you, if you get out to hunt. i know here everything is all froze up now. i would bet that area has ice now.

8 at night.
Find open water.
The Big river.Maybe..
