where can i deer hunt in washington?
« on: November 26, 2010, 04:20:32 PM »
Hey HUNTING WASHINGTON forum members! i am new to hunting and i am going deer hunting next season i just am not sure where to go. i want to stay in Washington because buying a license for another state would be too much cash. I want to find a place that is not very crowded and that is on public land because i do not want to pay a bunch of money to hunt on somebodies land. i would hunt on someones land if they let me for free but i just want to enjoy the sport and get a nice black tail deer to mount over my fireplace as my first kill. if you can help me PLEASE DO. :)
I am only 13 so i am a youth if that makes a difference and i have what is known as modern firearms. if you could also tell me when deer season is that would be amazing because it is so hard to start hunting when you don't have parents that hunt. Deer season is Oct. 15-31 correct?

@H20hunter
             Thanks for the advice. i have been reading about everyone bagging their first buck and their must be nothing more rewarding. i have been reading for about two months now and i am studying for hunters ed. I'm taking the test tomorrow.

all in all: really just stop bitching about 'being a troll' and stuff. i was just looking for some advice on where i could take my first hunt.

Thanks everyone and i will try the timber company land.

The second post was very telling.  I do not buy it either.  I guess that is what is meant by a "troll", trolling for information under false pretense?  How would he know what a troll is and I do not.  The second post was written in a much different manner than the first.  He has a fireplace or at least one where he can put a mount when his parents do not hunt?  and more...  Just does not feel right.

i know what a troll is because like every other kid i play video games. i go to one of the most advanced schools in Washington the Federal Way Public Academy and i do just fine. and to you adults you do not know your kids. you think you do but you dont. your kids use language that they 'shouldnt know' and they hide everything from you. my paernts support me hunting because like me, they enjoy shooting and my step dad is a fisher. i dont preticularly enjoy fishing and when i discovered how much i enjoy shooting through Boy Scouts of America. plus i would like to bring up a whole new side of the story. why would i use a fake identity to find out where to go hunting? i believe people should not be ashamed of themselfs and live a little.
thank you all who are actually supporting me on this.
