I've noticed this as becoming more of a problem lately. I had a buddy have his stand stolen, he set it up way back in the woods and didn't lock it up. Later the same year a different buddy of ours had a great spot for his stand, locked it up to the tree and some *censored* cut the chain and took the stand. Cutting chain to get a stand shows some serious dedication. The worst part about both of these incidents is that they occurred on a military base!
Well, you do know it is against the rules to put up trail cams, blinds, or tree stands on any military base unless they are removed daily.
How do you know the MP's did not remove the tree stand

I know I seen a few hunting JBLM this year, could have walked away with them, but didn't.
Should have reported it to the Range Controll, but I didn't. I gave the person the benefit of the dought that they were hunting the same day I was.
Personally, he got what he deserved for breaking the rules. If to many people like that break the rules, it runes it for the rest of us that follow them.
