It seems nobody wants to buy one because they're afraid of the 1 in 48 twist. But if I was looking for a new muzzleloader that one would be at the top of my list. I don't think it would be a problem finding a bullet that would shoot in the slower twist. What issues did you have with the CVA? The CVA Elkhunter gets good recommendations on here, from most people. You might also think about waiting to see what Knight will be putting out in the next few months.

Thanks guys, I have an elkhorn now along with about 4 other guys in camp and we are all (Me in particular) having issues with the gun's striking of the cap and it cost me a couple of nice deer this year. As far as accuracy goes it is not bad. @Bob - shoot power belts in the NW Explorer??
