I love the sight of a "whole" elk hanging.  Nice work!
Nothing witty here.... move along.

Cool  grats and that will be good eats.
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Nice job! I also hunt muzzy but have never hunted the late season on the east side, I couldn't find a unit that was open that I thought had elk in it. Did you have a special permit or would you be willing to tell me what unit I might find some elk in for the late hunt?  Thanks
