Really nice trio.  A week ago I saw a pair of otters swim past my cage traps.  They didn't find their way back - yet.  Trappers and hunters have to be optimists.

I have had the same thing happen over and over in the past,,,,,, I learned that the otter will be captured were he wants,,lol.(even moving the cage one foot)................

In area without sufficient food source the otter move great distances...worse then a cat
Once they;;;; (I say they because it is very rare in my short experience to have a single otter,,,, Even the males move in waves...) find a food source it can be quickly cleaned out,,
 Otter eat fresh food..

Sometimes a gland lure like asa lenons super all call  helps,,,,(or any of Aces's products,,,,,,,they are top notch!  and he is a heck of nice guy,,,,)

You're right on them traveling together.   Last year I caught 2 male otters going in opposite directions in a large conibear.  The furs are a matched pair, almost black.  Beautiful.

The gland lure sounds like a good idea, have to see what I have.
