I understand where you are coming from in regards to researching an area, but I don't feel the same rules apply when it comes to a damage hunt. Maybe im wrong but I thought the locals wanted some of those does thinned out?? Real good chance one of them are on here or someone here knows a land owner that wants some does removed. Im not taking anyone to my elk spots but would not hesitate to help someone on a doe hunt like this.

I apologize for saying don't be a @@@%. Wasn't called for.

No harm no foul ;)

Yeh if 1035 tough finding land day of hunt start. I know guys on here from the area talking about lack of deer ( does) up there ( Coleville) so even more difficult to find access. I have does on my property in 342 and have let youth come and hunt does in the past but numbers are way down so no doe hunting until numbers recover.

Believe me I am the worst procrastinator and hopefully this is a lesson to the poster. It happened to me in the past and was a good lesson when I did not do the needed homework. A successful hunt in Washington takes a lot of background research and time. Hopefully a learning experience. :twocents:
