My next hunting partner
« on: December 01, 2010, 05:52:51 PM »
No animal pics just had to share. My son is 2 1/2 and has loved everything about the outdoors since he could walk. He has been with us on one successful hunt allready. its to bad the deer ran into a nasty hole and died. had to have the old man take him and my 4 year old nephew to the brother house wile getting him out. he runs around the house bugling, ever since he was with me last year when we called a bull into 40 yards. He tell me to stop the truck because he sees deer even when there is no deer. I think it is important to get the youth involved in the outdoors. Remember they are our future. Here are some pics of the little guy making dad proud.
Remember that buck is climbing that Mt. every day!

Awsome pics, he doesn't look quite as enthusiastic about the fish as you are though...thats alright, I like hunting more than fishing too :).  My wife and I just had our first child (son) 3 months ago and I'm pretty excited for when he gets to the age your son's at right now.

I really hope that a decade from now we'll be able to pass them down a tradition and resource that is in better shape than it is now.  My biggest fear is that I'll spend the first 10 years of his life getting him excited for something thats going to be totally different than it is now...
