best diaphrams out there imo and the bully bull grunt tube is the best as well unbelievable sounds with this combo would recommend the red or brown reeds for bugling and the mellow yellow for cow and calf calls

yes sir i sure do use bugling bull co products. i use them in the field and in the RMEF World Bugling Championships. the grunt tubes are awesome and the reeds kick ass. i used Bugling Bulls Co calls every year since i met Rockie Jacobsen in 2000. he is the owner and founder of the hyper-lip plate which he sold the design to Primos for them to use also. i have great sucess with the Green reeds Brown reeds and the bright yellow cow/calf reeds. the "Conqueror" external mouth piece works VERY well for inexperienced elk callers wanting to sound like the real deal. BBC grunt tube sound amazing with the basically a whiffle ball bad design with a collapsable grunt tube attached.  i give Bugling Bull Calls a 10 out of 10 on quality of sound durability and all around awesomeness!!!!!!!! i used to use Berry Game calls and they switched the tape and latex on the reeds and one year while in Reno,NV for the RMEF Elk Calling Championships i met Rockie and he game me everything i needed for the championships and had way better quality elk calls than the rest. ive gone threw just about every elk call there is on the market and Bugling Bulls Co is BY FAR THE BEST

I will have to agree with Greg. The "awesomeness" of these game calls hard to beat. Switched from primos two years ago and haven't looked back. They will make you sound better than you really are.

yeah for sure the "mellow yellow" is a great reed to have for cow/calf calling.  i had alot of success during Eastern Wa Rifle season calling in elk.  whether there was snow on the ground or pissing down rain i was able to call in elk 7 out of 9 days we hunted.  i did most of my calling at night right after shooting time was over and i would cow/calf call like crazy chirp after chirp after chirp all different pitches to sound like a herd and i would bugle about ever half hour to and hour with a herd bull bugle and a few smaller bulls here and there. i did that 7 out of 9 nights and had big groups of elk within 100yrds of camp every morning. i had the chance to sit down with rockie in reno and get some very knowledgeable information what a great guy and a amazing elk call producer

I also used Glen Berry calls for years until they switched and F***ed up thier calls, I could never get a good sound out of them after that. I discovered BBC thanks to a friend of mine a few years ago. For me I like the Orange reed the most but the Red and brown also work well for me. The bugle tube is better than a wiffle ball bat, IMO. Everyone that hears it can not believe the sound and volume it puts out. It will be the only calls I will ever use first, but I'll still pack my old ones because you never know who sound or tone the elk will respond to on any given day.
One of the funniest things that happened this year was when I call my dad in and he never knew it. I've hunted with my dad my whole life up until a 4 years ago when he moved out of state. We know each others calls and sounds so well I can pick him out from a ways away. But with the Bully bull tube he had no idea it was me. It was so funny when he finally saw me.
BBC makes great calls and product

seriously tho Morrison...go to wholesale sports or cabelas and pick yourself up some of these products u wont regret it. the picture shown is the set up ive used for 6yrs in the field and aswell in RMEF competition works like a charm. the rubber things u see on the bat portion of the tube are called "tube Tammers" and its a rubber vibration damper that stretches around your grunt tube to help eliminate bad plastic resonance, bringing out more quality elk sounds. i dont have the "Conqueror" external mouthpiece in the picture but its the easiest thing to use especially for unexperienced elk callers. i saw a 5yr old in Reno at the RMEF competition pick up the "conqueror" mouthpiece attached to a grunt tube and blew my mind how well he sounded like a real elk. the conqueror mouthpiece is soo easy to use haha it may sound dirty but all u do is bite and blow. the more pressure u apply the higher the pitch. check out www.Buglingbull.com lots of good info on the calls they sell.

yeah Berry Game calls used to be the thing to go to for me. i met Glenn Berry and have been to his house a few times. he asked me if i would want to be in one of his Berry Game calls Hunting Adventures DVDs but at the time i was in middle of middle school and couldnt get the time off. it really bummed me out when they changed their reeds and everything but now i couldnt be happier with BBC.  i first started elk calling when i was 5 and all i had was old school H.S Strut reeds and a grunt tube. haha i remember growing up watching elk videos and doing everything i could to imitate the bulls of film.  i still do the same now and im 24. if u ever wanna get really really good at it you gotta focus on imitating bulls i did that for a really long time and did very very well in RMEF competitions. in 2004 i won Rmef World champion(youth division) i blew all 20 kids outta the water so bad they made me move up to the "open class mens division" 05 i took 4th out of like 40 guys, 06 i took 6th out of 40 guys, and 07 i took 4th again. i quit doing it cuz its all politics. if u dont use Primos ur not gonna win....but yeah happy in 04 cuz i was told i was the 1st person from washington state to win a world champonship for Elk calling!!

Reeds are only as good as you are with them  :P Scream'n Tormentor is my favorite. Bugling Bull game calls are second best IMO, custom reeds are the chit , never used a better reed than my customs  ;)

i cant get as much noise out of the bugle that gregghunts picture shows, i have that one and the one that is real similiar but doesnt have the collapsable part in it. im not sure why i can get better sound out of the solid one but i can. anybody else notice the difference between the two grunt tubes.

If your not able to handle a mouth piece. Berry game calls make and awesome realistic cow  call called the "sleazy cow" i have had great luck with this in bringing bulls and cows as well. have even fooled quite a few hunters as well. personally the most realistic soundin one i've heard.

Rockie's calls are some of the best around!  Not to knock anyone elses calls by any means as there are some great calls out there other than his.  But he has put a lot of time in to his calls and has the awards to back it up!

I was on Rockie's Pro Staff last year and I built his website and used to maintain it for him..  He and his wife Rena are GREAT people and they would bend over backwards for their clients!  If you ever read this Rockie - I truly appreciate all you have done for me!!  :hello:

The Mellow Yellow Momma diaphragm is my favorite cow / calf call by far!  It sounds so realistic and the best part with the notched latex is you can make super soft sounds like the cow / calf is only feet from you so you wont scare off that big bull when he comes crashing in with some loud hoochie mama elk call..

The Raging Bull (brown) diaphragm works great coupled with the Bully Bull grunt tube for an aray of different bugling and chuckling sounds.  I usually only cycle back and forth between these two calls and I have no complaints at all!

If you want a bite and blow cow / calf call the Who's YRR Daddy with the tone selector is a great call as well!  We have had great success with this call in creating cow in estrus calls and getting bulls to respond.

I truly feel that Rockie has done a great job with his calls and I will always support him!  If you haven't used his calls I suggest you go pick some up and give them a shot - you wont be dissapointed!

Best calls made!!!

I have had quite a few bad ones though. I don't even bother trying to return them either, Rockie seem like such a good guy that I don't mind giving a little extra.

I can't use a diaphram to save my life so I picked up their Select "A" Bull bugle.

I love it.  Super easy to use and realistic.  My 4 year old son sounds like a 1200lbs super bull with it.  If I had to do it again though, i would buy their Pack "A" Bull for $19 rather than this one for $50.  This one is nice but, I don't notice a sound difference between a "Small bull" and a "Large bull" when I move the sound selector.

Not trying to start a fight here because I have also used and had great success with these calls, but I had the same experience as BLUEBULLS.  I bought half a dozen calls this year and there was no consistency in them.  Ended up only having 2 of them that sounded like they should and after a day of use, the fabric fell off the aluminum plate.  I was not a happy camper.  I ended up finishing out the season with my trusty Primos calls and they worked and sounded just like they should.  I heard rumor of Rockie outsourcing his calls to a different company so he could keep up with supply and demand and that was the reason for the bad calls, but I heard he has fixed the problem.
