I am no expert on dogs, but that looks like a wolf to me.  It certainly is no coyote.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

I say shoot it and send hair samples to the WDFW for analysis.     According to someone on here that can't be a wolf because its by itself.

I thought the muzzle looked big, but if you zoom in on the picture you can see his front paw along side the muzzle.  Could be a big dark 'yote.  His legs look too short for a wolf, but that's just my guess.  There's only one sure way to find out  :mgun:

Looks like a wolf. Could be a hybrid, one was shot in my town (Buckley) game department came and took it for analysis. It was 120 lbs. They couldnt believe it.
