:chuckle:  that's what I am thinking... I will see how things go.

I am not upset about quota. Just bad timing and wrong place. Big tom usually travel stright cross many canyons and sometime he come back every three to month. I try to put hundreds miles on snowmoile to cover whole mountain best I can on weekend.  i have skipped many many small traxs. Its not easy when i am working full time. Others permitee just found perfect place perfect cut timing during weekly. Its part of sport. I am very thankful for everything I have.

Cheers.....

Wedensday Lots Snowing End.  Early Morning on Friday, I left and Arrival to pick up Trailer and installed Bogie wheeler with new Axle. It turn out great.

Went up one Canyon Cut snow inside Trax appox 130 to 140. I believe Cut happen around Wed Morning.  :(  No Roads around. Lots HIGH Cliff Over side. And other side are Pravite lands.  So Load on Trailer and head to other side of Valley and Cut Small Trax I believe its Female. Skip. unload Snowmobile and drive thur Canyon appox 3 miles Cut one on Deer traffic. Look like under 120ish either Female or Male. Smaller than  my hand. Skip. Head far out appox other 3 miles ALL SUDDEN LIVE COUGAR CROSSED FRONT OF ME. Appox 70 Feet Crossed while I were on Snowmobile and I got Excited. I went little forward and look inside Trax look like 110 to 120lb Trax. So I let Cougar run more longer so Dogs can chase longer. Its my favorite thing to make dogs GOOD at LONG Race. I dont like very Short Race. So I went other 2 miles. WAY TOO MANY tracks circle all over place. Good thing Live Cougar Crossed that way I can turn loose.   :chuckle:

So I turn around Head back to truck wait till light come up and load up and pull Trailer with hounds Head to where Live Cougar cross area. Soon I open Trailer door all three dogs ZOOM GONE!!! ALL ON FIRE!  ;)

They went thur Creek for almost 700 yds!  :yike: Cougar sure RUN FAST and LONGER and thur Creek water and logs cross!  Glad I did wait longer to make those dogs really good at chase thur Creek.

Pup 7 month went with them and did good job.  About 20 Min to 30 min Treed.  I went out search for them and found them Glad its only 5 feet from Tree to Snowmobile!

Spend on this Cat trying to figure out what Female or Male.  its Tom appox 110. VERY Young Tom.

Pull off dogs and released him.

Found Deer Kill Site where Cougar left and crossed front of me.

Head back to 2nd Cut.

Mulehunter   ;)
