Let it snow, let it snow....but not too much, just enough for Scott to find fresh tracks!!

I think it would be cool to use your bow. Thats what I would do, though I'd pack the 30-30 for wolf control.
Freezing rain at my house this morning. NASTY I hope its better in the valley

In this day and age, work is good, even if we hate it or have "better" things to do

i spend whole whole morning until afternoon. I cut a big tom yesterday it has three inches snow which cut appox wed morning at 1 am to 3 am and i got there thursday midnight learn where traxs are. Then in morning went out spend two tanks of gas around big tom.
no luck. I almost decide to pack back and leash two hounds go on trax walk between 4 to 10 mile but it look like going cliff way way way high steep hill so i went around many ways and no way i can get top. So i give up and went to other cy and cut trax. Female. Skip went to other cy. Cut old female trax. It has one to two inches snow. It hasn't snow here before i got here. I heard snow stop wedensday noon.
so this female lives in wolves territory. I went same area as last sunday and female cat got my dogs lost and got on a day trax.
Turn loose bad idea... 1 clock. Noo.... i am crazy. no barks. Geez... lost signal 2 miles. Went other cy. Still 1.6 miles. Geez long long long way. Finally treed right before dark. Female cat jumped three times finally she gave up and i was very worried getting dark and wolves might hunt my dogs. So i hurry my as$ hiking up hill deep snow finally found dogs on 3rd tree and caught cat with kitten around.
Congt to my hounds.
