Mule deer scenerio,What happened here?

Came across this in 2006 while hunting the late archery permit season

If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is around, does it make a sound?  Does the deer it falls on make a sound? 

On another note, why was a deer laying around on it's back in a wind storm?  Something is fishy..

LOL,Actually I had shot a buck and we cut him in half,dragged up the front half and then i went down for the second half,When i got to the top i dropped those hind legs and they slid almost all the way back down the hill.We thought it was funny where he landed,Just thought you guys might get a kick out of that.

Here is a pic of his other half,I was pretty proud of this one,hes not the biggest but me and rosscrazyelk worked that prick over for 5 days straight and I finally got an oportunity at him.
