Great hunt w/ bling, a storm, and special greeny
« on: December 05, 2010, 03:10:21 PM »
Yesterday was good, but slow enough to make us drive around and see what we could find for today.I found a solid # of birds for a mixed bag, my scouting proved correct and we had a great shoot. The morning started off with me killing a banded gadwal hen in one of the first goes. Seconds later I jump in the blind after celebration as two widgeon drop in. My dad dropped the drake which proved to be a pretty good storm. The hunt went well and all of us killed our limits. My second was taking a premo drake shoveler, which I plan to have mounted....this is my first real plumed out drake.

Did your dad grow up on the wet side. He looks familiar.
