I have about 1 1/4 oz, about 8inches in length. How much would that be worth? I don't know if I want to get rid of it, but might if the price is right.

I'd guess $25 bucks if the prices are what they used to be. :twocents:

on ebay that could be closer to $70, I sold 2.1 oz for $120 that was 7-9"
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

You jump up and down on it :chuckle: JK

You just grab the hair and give it a good yank. Small tuff's at a time.

Let it sit out for a few days.  Longer in colder weather.  Then the hairs pull out rather easily.

Grab a few at the ends and pull. Pulls out real easy.
Don't grab to close to body or you get some under fur mixed in and it is a pain to sort. Also, make sure they are all in the same direction (like my pict earlier in this thread) or the hairs aren't worth anything.

I saw a fresh porcupine kill while turkey hunting a couple days ago. I will see when I go back to that spot if it's still there. If so I will see what I can get if your interested.

Just don't leave them in your pickup in the summer heat for a week after you pluck them.  :chuckle:

I just passed one up coyote hunting a couple days ago. I'll have to go back and see if its still there.
