I know I'm not the only one. Kicking myself for not taking those two cows during early season.  :bash:

This was my second year of self taught, solo deer and elk hunting. Came up empty on both deer and elk, but had a good season nonetheless in terms of getting an education. Actually got close to elk a couple of times, which did not happen for me last year.

Skunked here!  Can't complain though.  It was our first year archery hunting for deer and first time ever for elk.  Saw LOTS of deer but couldn't get close enough to a legal buck (shoulda just let the air out of the many does we had shots at)  Oh well, I never saw so many deer during modern rifle.

Wouldn't exactly call it skunked, because I saw three legal bulls, but no elk tag filled.

Skunked so far.  Still have a late archery season over here, but don't know if I'll be able to get out in it....

I got nothing! Had a good elk season on the last day, got to see some real nice bull's  that would have been picking. Maybe next year I'll get the tag!  But trying is half the fun anyway still had a great season. There is always next year, and the pic's and story's on here keep me dreaming about it till next year. congrats to all that where successful this year nice work.
