Rossi Trifecta on sale at Cabelas
« on: December 10, 2010, 01:15:58 PM »
I received a flier last night that showed the Rossi Trifecta in .22, 20 ga, and .243 on sale at Cabelas for a great price I believe it was $239.00? I could be off but it was $50 of normal price.

For those looking for a good youth gun, these are great.

Is this driving down your profit margin?

Well, I wasn't really planning on making money on it. It is my son's/used as he's grown out of it, but I was going to put it up for sale this weekend for someone to make a happy kid at Christmas. That Cabela's price is cheap. They're a great starter gun.

They're small for a bigger guy. To be honest it's quite a handy little rifle if you want to save some weight. I'm only 5' 8" and it shoulders a little quicker than a lever gun since it's a little shorter in the stock and overall. My son has gotten taller than me with longer arms and wants a bolt gun now. I think they're great for a woman or younger/smaller person that doesn't fit a full sized bolt/rifle. If it was a .308win or something.. I might keep it. Alas, he wants a rifle like his brother's so this one goes to help fund that endeavor.
