Turkey Pics and Video
« on: April 13, 2008, 04:08:47 PM »
Here are a couple of photos and a low quality video from last year to help get you excited for Tuesday's opener.  I am getting to the giddy stage.

Man, they sure look buff colored to be Merriams in Cheney?  Nice birds and video.  I kept telling you to shoot in the video...lol.

It was hard to hold off, but I was trophy hunting by that time of year.  At the end after I had been busted you see me bring the gun up and I almost pulled the trigger.  Of course, I never filled my second tag.

Those are great looking birds, I am stoked to get out and go after those birds. Thanks for sharing those pics and the video.

Yikes,  this morning was a bust.  No birds, no sounds, no fresh sign.  Everything I was seeing the past couple months moved out of the area, and everyone I have talked to is not seeing or hearing anything right now.  Anyone doing the trip across the state, I would give it a little more time if you can change your plans.
