Have you skinned it out yet?  I'm betting it'll have multiple holes on its back and leg by the looks of that tale.  Been some Beaver on Beaver  violence going on in your hood.

Cylvertip....skinned and drying now...no holes or scars that I could see...pelt looked great, but I am a novice.

Machias....I used one of Bernie's swim thru' traps which goes under water.  will try to add a picture.

There is at least one more, but the water is crystal clear and they must see the trap.  Have got sticks stuck in the mud to try to keep them from going around..but no luck yet.

hey gramps,if ya can get that trap about 2inches under the water with a dive stick on each end,they wont go over it either...The water is clear here also dont seem to bother them much,Just getting them to dive in the trap.I also put lure on a stick center of trap just out of the water,not sure I need to but seems to make them come...

Thanks gramps for the photos, I've seen those used under water and I've seen them just out of the water as well.
