Walk through-3D range
« on: December 08, 2010, 10:18:57 AM »
I'm fairly new to SW Wa. and I would like to find a walk through archery range. There was/is a pretty cool range on the south hill of Puyallup I used to use alot and would like to find something like that a little closer to home (Kelso/Longview). Any help is greatly appreciated. ;)

Lucky shot archery in chehalis has a nice range. 30 yard indoor, and out to 100 yard outdoor ( weather dependant), there is also a seasonal 30 target 3D course usually open late may.

1/2 block from Grand and Mill Plain has an indoor range.  On Grand south 1/2 block on the left.  I have driven by several times,  but have not stopped in and looked at it.

Yeah, there are a couple indoor ranges close by me, I just get a little bored shooting at the same wall over and over.

I also have a buddy that just started bow hunting this year, he's a decent shooter on targets that he knows the distance, he is not very good at judging unknown distances. Thought an outdoor range would probably be alot more help then shooting at the same, 30 yard indoor range all the time.

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

What about one over on Kitsap peninsula?  KBH is a little far, live on Bainbridge island.

Check out Chinook Archers in Camas. Indoor 20 yard range, outdoor marked range out to 60 yards, walk-through field archery and 3D ranges on 55 wooded acres.  http://www.chinookarchers.net/
