Congrats on a big cow, should be some great eating.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

Man that is either a really big cow or you are a little guy.  :chuckle:
I would european mount that skull...
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Thanks guy's! She is definatley the biggest cow I've shot. I am 6'3" and 250lbs and I'm not even long arming it. :chuckle: I did'nt even plan on putting much time into elk for the late season since I got a spike down in Utah during the muzzleloader hunt. I was concentrating on getting a good buck this year instead. I shot my buck on the 6th and pretty much decided I was done. Well on the 7th my brother in law texts me and says, I just missed a cow! The next day I call up my brother in law to see what he is up to and he informs me that he is on his way to Cabela's with his wife. I make a quick decision to go into work late and go sit in HIS STAND! Needless to say I was a little later for work that I planned on. This was the same stand I shot my spike on last year. After my brother in law sat in it for a few days with the elk coming in but never close enough to offer a shot. The ironic thing is that she offered me the exact same shot as the spike did last year and ran off and died within 10ft of where the spike did as well.
