Yea and do you ever shoot any deer or elk there?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

I have never trapped before but I support any kind of hunting. I don't cry from any pictures but those are the kind that the anti's love to get a hold of. Those pic's alone can sway any kind of vote against hunting in the wrong direction, I wouldn't have posted them but you do have the right to.... for now anyway.

Here is what I don't understand." why do people who have a problem with pictures even look at them" I'm in wyoming and it says it in my avatar so how come some people would think it would cause this site any damage. The damage comes when everyone gives up like a few people on here have already done.

Looked at the pictures and to be honest I can't figure why anyone would be offended. Cat with it's foot in a trap. No sign of any trauma, good paw catch and a lively cat obviuosly not distressed. :dunno:
I don't like nontarget pics but these are fine IMHO.
We see pics on this site all the time of down game animals sometimes with blood, pics of wound channels and god forbid cut up meat. I don't consider this to be any worse and probably better for public relations. Just from looking at the pics he could have released them and they would have been none the worse for it.

Yea that times 1000, nice classy photos of animals in a leghold.  Nothing sad about those photos.  Now if you show the three legged cat all mangled up and we were high fiving each other, yea that would be in bad taste.  Those type of photos are NOT what swayed the voters last time.  It was the staged photo of the coyote running around with a 330 on it's head or the weepy dog or cat with a missing limb that did the damage.  Those animals in all three photos could have been released UNHARMED if needed.  The reasons we lost trapping in this state are many, massive outside funding, a small group of guys fighting for their rights with VERY little help from sportsman as a whole, and NO backing by the WDFW.  The WDFW stated they couldn't take sides, BS, they didn't have to take a side, but they could have told the voting public that mole and gopher traps would indeed be outlawed and that trapping is and remains the best management tool for many furbearers.  Great photos, I really miss walking up and hearing a chain rattle!!!!!   :'(

Thanks for posting Huntinglonewolf.

I will admit that I too was sad when I saw the pictures of the animals in the footholds - Sad that we pretty much can't use them in this state as of right now :bash: :bash: :bash:

Keep'em comin.
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.
