Looks like they have some nice show lines The Dotsons co own a dog with them and they are nice people.  I am not familar with Himoon though.  I would look at the Puget Sound labrador Retreiver club site as they may be members.  What are you looking to use the dog for?

Make sure the pups are either EIC (Excersise Induced Collapse) and CNM ( Similar to MS in people) Clear or no worse than carrier if you do not plan to breed.  There are several gret breeder in WA.  Wind River Labs, Rocking M, Tiger Mountain and a few others.  We have a litter at the moment that would be great for the avid hunter and has all the health clearances.  http://www.rattlingridgelabs.com/

Hey old hunter, I have a Rattling Ridge Lab, and my friend has two rattling ridge labs (seperate litters) and they are by far the smartest dogs I've been around. Very easy to train and loves to hunt even more. Mine is almost 8 months old and I think it was the best decision i've ever made. He's also very good around people and has no problem being around my 2 year old neice. He knows when to turn it on in the field and off at home, even for a puppy. I would contact rattling ridge about the litter they have now, you wont be disappointed.

If you are looking for a working dog(hunting, etc) buy from hunting lines. All I can say is you cannot put the desire into them.

Casey  Thanks for the good words.  Joan had to get most of her hunting in before Tess whelped.  I guess I have to step up to the plate and get those nasty ol long spurs now. She is an avid hunter and usually hunts from grouse to the end of water fowl.  Have you hunted the pups yet?  We are hearing a lot of good reports.  Two are heading south in January to start their derby careers.  Sounds like they show a lot of poiny as well.  Pat sure likes what he sees in the ones that went west.  Send some photo's to Joans email.  Mike and Tiffany liked what he saw out of the Drake Hattie breeding he decided to breed Tess (Hattie's half sister on the dam side) to Drake also.  Here is a link to the puppy page so you can follow the pups week to week.

Shmalzfam is correct.  If you plan on hunting and going upland, field lines are a must.  Nothing worse than a dog that gives up on you while hunting

Doug,  Yeah I've hunted over my male pup out of Willie and Stella. I had the first pick of the black males. Not a ton of birds over here on the westside besides the planted stuff and the occasional trip to Pat's. He's been great with the training tips and we have Ryder headed in the right direction. He has the drive for sure, that isn't taught, thats just in him. I had a bunch of pictures of him as a puppy and then when he retrieved his first wild Duck and Pheasant, but they were on my phone and that got wet on a recent duck hunt. But I'm sure there will be a lot more. I'll have to keep Joan posted on his progress. I definately plan on having him ready for his JH and by spring and maybe some SH attempts by the end of the testing season, just getting into the fun stuff now (force hold/fetch) but he is picking that up very quickly.

I did have a question for you about breeding Ryder, PM?

Thats right it was the Willie pup.  I really like that breeding.  Joan has a Willie pup here taht is great so far.  Joan sent you a PM, not sure it worked.  You can email tkeaugie@yahoo.com or justjoane15@fairpoint.com.  She will have better breeding info as I am only in charge of the birds and turds!  She does let me feed them from time to time :chuckle:
