Transferring ownership of a weapon

Might be a bit off topic- but portland ore just passed five new gun laws and one of them was that if a crime was committed with a gun registered to you- then you are liable for the crime. Has me kinda wondering because I have sold around 40 guns in my life and I have no idea how many of them are registered to me.

The ones you bought from a FFL are registered to you.
Unless you sold them and they were traded in to a FFL.
